Non-Formal Educational Program

Practical resources designed to help youth leaders, educators, and social workers protect teenagers from antisocial behaviour online

Online Safety Network

We connect professionals across the EU to share resources, best practices, and support each other in promoting online safety for teenagers

Raising awareness

Engaging local schools, communities, and social media channels to raise awareness and share project outcomes with teenagers, parents, educators, and the general public

Our project responds to the increasing risks young people face online, aiming to raise awareness about the impact of antisocial behaviours—such as cyberbullying—on mental health. We support youth leaders, educators, and social workers to build a safer digital space for teenagers across Europe.

Project Objectives:

  • Equip teenagers with knowledge and skills to safely navigate social media, enhancing their social media literacy, emotional regulation, mindfulness, and empathy.
  • Address the risks of antisocial behavior on social media, helping teenagers, especially vulnerable groups, develop resilience.
  • Develop a non-formal educational program for youth leaders, educators, and social workers to guide teenagers in social media safety.
  • Establish a professional network of youth leaders, educators, and social workers to continue promoting online safety after the project ends

Expected Results:

  • Increased awareness among teenagers and educational professionals about the risks and psychological effects of antisocial behavior on social media.
  • Enhanced social media skills, emotional regulation, and empathy among teenagers, especially within vulnerable groups such as refugees, teenagers with disabilities, and those with mental health challenges.
  • Empowered youth leaders, educators, and social workers with tools and a network to provide ongoing social media safety education to teenagers.
  • Sustainable engagement through a professional network that will extend the impact of project outcomes and allow the continuous development of safe social media practices for youth.
